About the Role:
As part of the Professional Services team, you'll play a key role in helping customers strengthen the security of their industrial environments. You’ll support hands-on engagements that include architecture reviews, assessments and tabletop exercises - working side by side with experts who protect critical infrastructure around the world. From contributing to customer reports to developing training materials and learning the nuances of ICS/OT systems, this position offers a chance to build real-world experience, expand your technical skills and make a tangible impact on how organizations defend their operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support team members during customer engagements such as architecture reviews, documentation assessments, tabletop exercises, and site walk-downs.
- Assist with data collection and analysis from networks and host devices, including reviewing logs, packet captures, and system configurations.
- Contribute to drafting findings and recommendations for customer reports, with opportunities to present portions of the work and address customer questions under guidance.
- Perform analysis of network communications utilizing the Dragos Platform to identify anomalies, threats, or risks to client environments.
- Participate in tabletop exercises and workshops to build knowledge and help customers practice incident response.
- Collaborate with team members to transform insights from customer work into improvements for Dragos products, services, and training programs.
- Continuously learn about industrial environments, ICS/OT technologies, and security best practices through hands-on engagements and mentorship.
Qualifications:
- Curiosity about industrial control systems (ICS), operational technology (OT), and industrial protocols, with a desire to develop expertise over time.
- Exposure to or interest in industries like manufacturing, energy, or utilities.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, especially on technical topics, and apply learnings in practical scenarios.
- Exposure to foundational cybersecurity principles through full-time work, coursework, bootcamps, certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+), or internships.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnets, and common network devices (routers, switches). Awareness of cybersecurity tools such as antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Comfort using Windows/Linux command line interfaces and basic system administration tasks.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% (domestic and international) to support customer engagements.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and coordinate across distributed teams.
