As an Associate, Advisor Business Development professional, you'll play a critical role in scaling Farther's advisor network by identifying and recruiting exceptional financial advisors to our platform. This is a strategic sales position requiring sophisticated relationship-building, deep consultative expertise, and the ability to articulate our differentiated value proposition to seasoned wealth management professionals.
You'll manage the entire advisor acquisition lifecycle—from prospecting through contract execution—while navigating the complex decision-making processes inherent in practice transitions. This role requires travel to Dallas twice monthly for high-priority prospect engagements alongside senior leadership.
Your Impact- Execute targeted outbound prospecting strategy with 50+ daily touchpoints to qualified financial advisors
- Orchestrate comprehensive sales cycles from initial engagement through close, managing multiple stakeholders and complex evaluation processes
- Conduct rigorous discovery sessions to map advisor pain points, practice economics, and growth objectives
- Deliver sophisticated presentations articulating Farther's technology infrastructure, operational capabilities, and competitive advantages
- Lead in-depth platform demonstrations showcasing how our solutions address specific practice management challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized transition strategies for high-value prospects
- Maintain meticulous pipeline hygiene and provide accurate revenue forecasting
- Participate in bimonthly strategic prospect meetings in Dallas with executive leadership
- Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly sales quotas and key performance metrics
- Contribute strategic insights to refine our go-to-market approach and sales methodology
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of demonstrated excellence in complex B2B sales
- Verifiable track record of consistently exceeding quota in competitive sales environments
- Proven proficiency in high-volume prospecting with strong conversion metrics
- Expertise in managing sophisticated, multi-stakeholder sales processes in virtual environments
- Advanced consultative sales skills, including needs analysis, value-based selling, and solution positioning
- Exceptional ability to qualify prospects, overcome objections, and drive deals to close
- Strong executive presence with polished communication and presentation capabilities
- Disciplined self-management and accountability in remote work settings
- Comfort with technology platforms and data-driven sales approaches
- Flexibility to travel to Dallas twice monthly for prospect meetings
- Background in financial services, wealth management, or fintech sales
- Established network within the RIA or independent advisor community
- Experience with enterprise CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Understanding of advisor business models, custody platforms, and transition economics
- Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or channel development
