Position is responsible for supporting the MetLife Investments Management Data Governance Program as per MetLife Data Governance Policies, Standards and Guidelines. This position will develop and maintain supporting data governance documentation including Glossary & Rules, training materials by collaborating with Data Owners and Stewards. The position will create and maintain status reports, issues lists, and monitor metrics and SLA's.

Bachelor's degree (Any Stream) or diploma with a minimum of 15 years of education.
Experience

Job Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to MetLife's Data Governance policies and standards.
- Develop Data Governance Documentation by collaborating with Data Domain Owners and Stewards
- Collect and manage metadata, including Business Glossary and Data Lineage.
- Support system owners in creating searchable, accessible data dictionaries and lineage flows.
- Coordinate the resolution of data governance issues: maintain issues list, follows-up with stakeholders on open 'Action Items'
- Support Data change requests through review, analysis, assessment and coordination with teams for implementation.
- Establishes ongoing communication with stakeholders to communicate work progress and outcome
- Monitor data governance metrics and SLAs, assuring required KPI levels are within established thresholds

- Good verbal communication and relationship building skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including MS PowerPoint
- Good business writing skills including presentations, business requirements etc
- Understanding of Data Governance concepts
- Experience in any Data Governance Tools
