The Opportunity
As an Asset & Wealth Management Regulated Investment Company (RIC) - Senior Manager, you will focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy within our Tax practice. You will help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions, confirming compliance with tax laws and regulations. As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your influence, skills, and network to deliver quality results. You will motivate and coach others, coming together to solve complex problems. With increased autonomy, you will apply sound judgment, recognizing when to take action and when to escalate.
In this role, you will review and analyze financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance. You will craft and convey clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story, apply systems thinking to identify underlying problems, and validate outcomes with clients. Your ability to develop and sustain high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams, and your commitment to excellence, contributes to the success of our firm.
Responsibilities
- Leading tax compliance projects for asset and wealth management clients, focusing on regulated investment companies
- Analyzing financial data to prepare and file accurate tax returns, minimizing risks of non-compliance
- Providing strategic tax planning and guidance to optimize clients' tax positions within the financial services industry
- Reviewing and validating clients' adherence to tax laws and regulations, offering solutions to complex tax issues
- Coaching and mentoring teams to enhance their skills in tax compliance and regulatory consulting
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to understand and address their tax compliance needs
- Utilizing analytical thinking to monitor and analyze financial trends impacting tax strategies
- Drafting and reviewing tax documents to support corporate tax planning and compliance efforts
- Applying systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities in tax compliance processes
- Initiating open and honest coaching conversations to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $335,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
