We are looking for a motivated self-starter that wants to grow as we grow. As an Application Architect, your primary responsibility will be to work with clients to develop applications on the Azure platform. You will be responsible for the analysis, design and planning of application components in Azure and other related technologies. The role is a technical client-facing role that will be accountable for client application development. The ideal candidate will have experience in client-facing roles and have success supporting technical discussions with clients.
A successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate proficiency with the design, implementation, support of cloud solutions and exhibit superior communication skills. If you are a smart, capable developer looking for a challenge, 3Cloud is a fit for you!
Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features
- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
- Own one or more distinct parts of a project (components, features, etc.)
- Perform diagnostic tests and debugging procedures while improving code and re-designing tasks
- Generate ideas for software innovation based on market trends
- Stretch capabilities through seeking mentorship and by setting and striving to achieve challenging goals
- Keep up with emerging technology trends and their impact on cloud solutions.
Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in application development.
• 3+ years of application architecture and leading development teams.
• Experience working in a major cloud platform, Azure, AWS, or GCP. Azure Preferred.
• Experience working in a consulting environment is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of object-oriented concepts with emphasis on .NET specifications, framework and design patterns using C#.
• Familiarity with Azure Service Bus and Azure Functions is a plus.
• Desire for continuous learning and new technology to be used in the cloud space.
• Desire to be hands-on code but able to develop complex architectures in the cloud.
• Strong analytical problem-solving ability, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

3Cloud offers competitive compensation. In addition to base pay employees are eligible to receive an annual discretionary/utilization bonus. If you are hired at 3Cloud your final base salary is based on factors such as skills, education, experience and/or geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above includes the full base salary range for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.
Base Salary Range
$113,100—$164,000 USD
