We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Appointment Scheduler to join our healthcare clinic team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing schedules, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic’s appointment system. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments via phone, email, and online platforms.

  • Answer inbound calls and respond to appointment-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Maintain and update patient records in the clinic’s scheduling system.

  • Reschedule appointments when necessary due to cancellations or changes in provider availability.

  • Remind patients of upcoming appointments through automated systems, calls, or emails.

  • Handle patient appointment requests and follow up as needed to ensure proper documentation.

  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed (e.g., confirming insurance details, verifying patient information).

  • Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in scheduling, customer service, or a healthcare setting is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

  • Proficient with basic office software and scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or clinic-specific software).

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable working remotely and managing your own schedule.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is a plus but not required.
