DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Work the Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) application incident tickets and service requests. Interact daily with the Application Development team regarding errant processes, financial corrections and outstanding application issues. Engage in knowledge transfers to fix application and data issues for specific user issues. Work with the team on areas of application automation focusing on stability. Assist in application implementations into the production environment. Lead the team in automation projects for resiliency events. React to monitoring alerts and works toward mitigation. Provide support for applications including monitoring, health check, and checking for daily issues & logs. Perform daily scheduled activities to ensure proper functioning of Sanctions and PRPC Systems. Perform Disaster Recovery events and other IT infrastructure sanity tasks. Create Key Trend Analysis Monitoring for Applications (KPI Monitoring) using different monitoring tools. Manage major production incidents, ensure proper engagement is received from other stakeholders, and advise senior management on potential impacts. Provide technical support for Linux, Java and Pega based applications, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as an Applications Support, Technology Lead, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Pega Systems for business process management and customer relationship management solutions; Kubernetes container orchestration; modern infrastructure management and deployment; creating automation scripts to streamline and improve operational efficiency; Unix-based systems; AWS Cloud Services; PL SQL Databases; Cassandra Databases; Oracle Databases; designing, implementing, and managing complex data structures and optimizing database performance; GOS; Incident & Change Management; DataDog; Application Performance Monitoring; Splunk; Python; and Dynatrace.
