About the Job:

We are looking to hire an Experienced Application Packager to ensure the success of our core product offerings and maintain a competitive advantage in the market. You will be responsible for adding, supporting, updating, and troubleshooting issues related to our application catalog, which plays a critical role in our product ecosystem. 


Responsibilities:

  • Update and Maintain the Patch My PC Application Catalog, the leading third-party application catalog.  
  • Troubleshooting issues as they arise and ensuring applications in the catalog are correctly deployed across environments.  
  • Package and Repackage Applications for deployment with Microsoft ConfigMgr and Intune products, ensuring efficient and accurate deployment for clients. 
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams to ensure the application catalog is aligned with the company’s core offerings and supports our competitive edge. 
  • Support and Troubleshoot Issues related to application packaging and deployment, including resolving any installation errors or conflicts. 
  • Develop and Maintain PowerShell scripts to automate and streamline application packaging processes. 
  • Support and Troubleshoot scripts created for the PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit. 
  • Ensure Quality Control and adherence to best practices in application deployment. 
  • Provide Technical Support to internal teams and customers, addressing packaging issues and offering solutions. 


Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on application packaging and deployment. 
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues quickly and efficiently. 
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and process improvement. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Installer (MSI) and other application deployment techniques. 
  • Experience packaging and repackaging applications for Microsoft Intune and Configuration Manager products. 


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with PSADT (PowerShell Application Deployment Toolkit). 
  • Familiarity with Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr). 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune 


Position Details:

  • Position Type: Full-Time / Exempt
  • Travel: Some travel may be required.


Compensation:

  • Competitive Base Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 based on experience and location.
