Description: Rubadue is seeking a skilled Applications Engineer to serve as a technical liaison between customers and our sales team. This role focuses on designing and implementing advanced wire and cable technologies for industries including military, aerospace, medical, magnetics and automation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Technical Design & Support: Develop and design wire, cables and cable assemblies to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Customer Quotations: Prepare detailed technical quotations, customer approval drawings, and pricing for new wire, cable and cable assembly products.
  • Documentation: Create, review, and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical specifications.
  • Sales Collaboration: Provide technical expertise for the sales team and participate in on-and-off-site customer visits to address complex interconnect challenges.
  • Manufacturing Liaison: Coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure timely production and compliance with technical standards.
  • Testing & Analysis: Conduct product testing and competitive analysis to validate performance and meet customer expectations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred). Preferred to have  a degree, but doesn’t have to.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical interconnect systems, wire harnesses, and cable assemblies.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk) and standard MS Office software.
Travel : 40%-60%
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
The production environment is typical of many indoor manufacturing facilities. This is a “Safety First” facility P.P.E. gear is mandatory with no exceptions. The noise generated within the facility is moderate but sometimes using certain equipment may require hearing protection. Employees frequently work on or around moving and heated equipment sometimes with extreme temperatures.
