Design, integrate, and test RF systems, collaborating with engineers and scientists while solving customer problems and preparing presentations.
Essential Duties:
Contribute technical expertise and work within a focused team that designs, fabricates, integrates and tests RF and millimeter wave subsystems.
Work closely with scientists and engineers to provide support in developing state of the art RF subsystems for communication, radar and sensing applications.
Additional job functions include solving customer problems, writing invention disclosures, publishing papers, briefing customers, participating in proposal activities and assisting in marketing HRL expertise.
Required Skills:
Some experience with modeling and simulating electronic components, RF electronics and circuits is desired.
Experience with different families of FPGAs, DSPs, or microcontrollers is desired.
A working familiarity with Python, C and MATLAB. Simulink is a plus.
Understanding of basic circuit theory, electromagnetics, and digital signal processing.
Familiarity with RF and high-speed digital test equipment.
Working knowledge of RF components for communication and radar systems is a plus.

Ability to operate complex electronic equipment
Perform detailed analyses of integrated circuits, and prepare written and oral presentations.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Proficiency in use of computers, engineering workstations, complex electronic equipment, oral and written communication, interaction with vendors/colleagues and willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Required Education:
Master's Degree and 1+ years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability and willingness to travel 20% of time.
Special Requirements:
US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain US Government security clearance
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,715 - $150,895 + bonus + benefits.
