As a manager of Data & Analytics, you will need to liaise with Compliance Test Managers to understand compliance activities and define Analytical & automation solutions to drive efficient Compliance Testing and define new compliance Testing models using analytics. You will lead a team of highly talented and creative team, proficient with the use of tools and technologies like Python, UiPath, Alteryx, ThoughtSpot & SQL, who will deploy these analytical and automation solutions. As a manager of Analytical specialists, you will need to explore data strategies across LOBs and leverage them effectively and efficiently to build analytical and automation solutions.

Job responsibilities
- Program management and Delivery ownership: Drive the delivery of projects for the Control Testing center of Excellence (TCoE) within / across lines of business.
- Drive the delivery of business insights to strengthen controls and management of risks: Leverage basic data exploration techniques (Descriptive and prescriptive/predictive analytics) to support current testing routines that seek to measure compliance to the various laws, regulations, and guidelines. Design, build, and execute data quality controls that ensure completeness and accuracy on risk datasets and reports.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder engagement: Establish and maintain a consistent dialog and strong relationship with Control Testing managers & leaders across the TCoE, to enable better management & growth of the Book of Work / engagements.
- Timely and accurate reporting: Provide timely and relevant information through appropriate reporting mechanisms (scorecards, dashboards, monthly management meetings). Design on demand data visualizations / presentations to communicate complexity, scale & impact of solutions/delivery.
- Adherence to Firm wide Controls framework associated with the creation of Analytical solutions: Understand the controls associated with the creation, deployment and re use of analytics, and ensure adherence consistently and in the most efficient manner.
- Document requirements associated with the analytical solutions built to enable Control Testing activities in the TCoE: Update Process control Test papers, that document the data extraction, Automation and Analytics approach to extract data / Automate Compliance Testing activities / Drive deeper insights into Compliance Test results.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on Data Analytics concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Overall Experience of 10+ years in Automation and Analytics within a financial institution or similar industry.
- Proven track record of managing large portfolios of projects; managing delivery in an environment with diverse automation solutions like Python / Alteryx / UiPath etc.
- Experience as a Business Analyst / Product manager will be a plus.
- Experience of working in an Audit / Testing / Compliance or risk management environment will be additionally preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong Executive presence, presentation skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Growth Mindset: Actively contribute to building and exemplifying a continuous learning mindset, bringing in new ideas and perspectives that stretch the thinking of the group.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to supervise, develop and implement state of the art, fully scalable - various machine learning models / algorithms for risk detection, classification, prediction to aid in continuous monitoring and testing activities. (In partnership with the Machine learning deployment management team)
