 Position Overview: 

We’re seeking a skilled Analytics Consultant with a strong background in data analytics to support our growing client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience in transforming data into actionable insights and be comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a consulting environment. This position requires hands-on expertise in data extraction, transformation, analysis, visualization, reporting, communication, and project management.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Interface with clients to identify data needs and develop customized analytics solutions.
• Design, implement, and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and performance indicators.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop insights-driven reports that aid in decision-making.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues within SQL and Power BI reports.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients, translating complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.
• Manage a project and team members from project start to finish.

 Qualifications:

• Self-starter and driving personality interested in delivering results.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• 2+ years of work experience in data analytics, with a strong focus on SQL and Power BI.
• Proven ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Proficiency in creating interactive Power BI dashboards and understanding DAX functions.
• Experience working with large datasets and handling data quality issues.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights.
• Ability to comfortably and professionally interact with executive-level audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.

 Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of additional visualization tools (Tableau), data transformation tools, and cloud database tools (Databricks, Snowflake) is a plus.
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
• Experience working in Python or another scripting language, and exposure to working with APIs is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.
