The Role
The Analyst, Sustainability is a creative problem solver with a passion for data. In this role, you will dive into the intricacies of data—collecting, cleaning, compiling, and analyzing it—to support data-driven sustainability initiatives. You will contribute directly to our key sustainability targets by coordinating data collection from across the business, and compiling datasets to track progress towards our company-wide Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This role will own these data processes with an eye towards optimization and efficiency as well as support the completion of analyses required for internal and external reporting. A strong candidate for this role is results-oriented, has a keen eye to detail and strong collaboration and time management skills.

Your Impact
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and compiling data for Scope 3 Greenhouse Gas Accounting, including product/materials data, transportation, warehousing, use phase, and end-of-life
- Organizing environmental data for the annual Corporate Responsibility report and submissions to ESG indices such as Textile Exchange and CDP
- Ensuring data integrity and consistency across internal and external reports
- Designing and implementing computer scripting solutions (e.g., Python, VBA) to optimize data processes
- Collaborating cross-functionally to gather data and track progress toward SDGs
- Conducting research and analyzing sustainability metrics, including Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data

We’d Love to Hear From People With
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, environmental science, or computer science
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, VBA, and Python
- Strong understanding of sustainability metrics (GHG, water, energy, waste) and how to measure, report, and reduce them
- Familiarity with environmental benchmarking, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, and ESG reporting (preferred)
- Experience with LCA, LCIA, manufacturing, and complex supply chains (preferred)
- Knowledge of materials and processes in the footwear and/or apparel industry (preferred)
- Familiarity with FlexPLM and SQL (preferred)
$78,000 - $83,000 - The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in Goleta, CA. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
