Responsible for analyzing user requirements and then designing, building, and testing software applications which will satisfy those requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Contribute to software development projects by writing, testing, and debugging code, with a focus on AI/ML applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and deploy generative AI and machine learning solutions.
  • Assist in documenting software specifications, models, and APIs used in AI-driven platforms.
  • Help diagnose and resolve technical issues related to data pipelines, LLM integration, and model performance.
  • Support the implementation of emerging AI technologies and best practices.
  • Participate in learning and development initiatives to advance technical expertise in AI, data science, and software engineering.
  • Share knowledge and collaborate with peers on innovative projects.
  • Actively learn from and assist more experienced team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
  • Relevant experience, typically 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience
  • Experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, and data-driven software development.
  • Basic understanding of coding fundamentals, debugging, and agile software development.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a collaborative team environment.

Other Qualifications:

  • Relevant coursework in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, NLP, Deep Learning, and Data Mining.
  • Strong communication and organization skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

  • Remote role based in the U.S.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $50,400 - $93,500.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.  DXC offers a comprehensive, flexible, and competitive benefits program which includes, but is not limited to, health, dental, and vision insurance coverage; employee wellness; life and disability insurance; a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, paid time off.
