Primary Accountabilities
Analytical (50%):
- Contribute to implementation of the IT Asset Management Solution and development of a software and licensing compliance program.
- Assist with management of enterprise-wide software and licensing compliance governance processes.
- Promote collaborative, empowered working environments across Inmar by removing software barriers.
- Support tasks which define software and licensing compliance strategies, metrics and program services.
Operational (30%):
- Assist with implementation of effective policies and practices to ensure Inmar software and licensing is compliant with relevant legislation and legal interpretation.
- Provide support services to management, as appropriate, in the event of Internal Audit and/or outside consultants conducting assessments or audits.
Influence (20%):
- Work closely with IT leaders, technical experts and Inmar management across the enterprise on a wide variety of software and licensing compliance issues that require an in-depth understanding of the IT environment in their business units.
- Research and draft education and awareness programs to be publicized internally for all software and licensing compliance issues and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, or a Bachelor of Arts Degree in a related technical field.
- 1 or more years related work experience in software licensing or similar role.
- Or any equivalent combination of experience and training/certification that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position.
- Entry-level understanding of software licensing, contracts, software metering and methods to audit software deployment and usage.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn business processes, software licensing, software asset management and audit methodologies.
- Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment with challenging client service delivery targets and timelines.
