Playing a pivotal role in VAST’s AI mission is the Lead for VAST Analyst Relations.

VAST is seeking a dynamic and experienced Analyst Relations Lead to join our Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance our visibility and reputation among key industry analysts. You will work closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams to communicate our value proposition and technological innovations in the data storage market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive analyst relations program to increase awareness and understanding of the VAST Data Platform. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with influential analysts covering data infrastructure (File & Object storage), database and AI.
  • Arrange briefings, inquiries, and strategy sessions between company executives and analysts.
  • Manage the creation and distribution of analyst-related materials, such as briefing documents, presentations and reports. 
  • Coordinate and prepare for major analyst events and report on outcomes and insights. 
  • Drive a steady stream of coverage, content, and insight from analyst relationships to elevate VAST’s position. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage analyst relations in broader marketing and communication strategies.
  • Respond to analyst inquiries and monitor analyst reports for accuracy and alignment with company messaging.

Requirements
  • 10+ years experience in AR, strong relationships with infrastructure & AI analysts already established at Gartner, IDC, etc
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate in a highly visible and accountable role
  • Expert organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams and engagements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent writing ability and verbal communication skills, you can create and convey meaningful content that clearly states VAST’s competitive position
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and solve problems independently
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for engaging with influencers
  • Experience in event planning, coordination and execution
  • Experience with Influencer Relations and content creation/amplification
