About the Team 

Our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice enables clients to achieve operational and financial excellence through advanced planning, forecasting, and profitability solutions. We partner with financial services and private markets clients to design and implement solutions that enhance financial decision-making through technology-driven transformation. 

Role Overview 


As an Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting technology-enabled transformations. You will leverage Anaplan to help clients maintain, update and fix their existing models. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients while mentoring junior consultants, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction. 

You’ll support delivery teams, collaborate with client stakeholders, and help build the Anaplan delivery capability within the EPM practice—bringing tailored solutions to the financial services and alternative investments sectors.

What You'll Do / Keys to Success:

  • An Analyst at Alpha FMC is a core member of the team delivering 
    components of support engagements that identify, fix, design, and 
    implement technology and creative business solutions.
  • Key responsibilities will include: 
    • Supporting existing Anaplan models
    • Receiving Client tickets, and fixing the logged bugs or enhancements, recording progress in the appropriate project management tool.
    • Support model maintenance activities. 

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant consulting, functional finance industry experience
    or college degree (finance, economics, analytics).
  • Strong Excel literacy.
  • Passion for business analytics, modeling, and planning.
  • Results-oriented, motivated, self-starter with an eagerness to learn
    new skillsets
  • Strong desire to excel and gain exposure to multiple industries while
    further developing your career.
  • Ability to collaborate with clients 

Preferred/Desired Qualifications 

  • Experience in data analysis, financial analysis constructing analytical
    models based on historical and projected data
  • Hands-on functional experience and/or demonstrated proficiency in
    EPM-related business processes: Finance & Management reporting,
    FP&A, Analytics
  • Anaplan Certified Model Builder Level I & II
  • A minimum of 1 full life cycle Anaplan or similar EPM cloud technology
    implementation.
  • 1+ years’ experience in management consulting
  • 2+ years’ experience in an industry role within private markets, real
    estate or broader financial services
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel / financial modeling skills
  •  Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation
    skills (MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
  • Ability to collaborate with clients

There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to - skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the salary range is $70,000 – $85,000 USD for US-based hires and $70,000 – $90,000 CAD for Toronto-based hires, subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, candidates will be eligible for a variable bonus.
