This position supports DaVita's Referral Source Arrangement review team. At a high level, this role performs critical compensation analyses, licensing and credentialing monitoring, reviews legal contractual documents and updates our compliance database to ensure it reflects correct information. This role also supports initiatives to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of compliance processes.  This position acts as a liaison with key internal stakeholders - primarily the clinical operators and legal departments - to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and DaVita policies.  In that, the position provides training and support to stakeholders navigating the Salesforce database and our compliance policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and provide determinations on compensation to nephrologists consistent with our compensation fair market valuation (FMV) models
  • Coordinate with external vendors on compensation valuation reports and analyze potential risks
  • Identify risk-escalating factors present in Medical Director coverage and appointment changes
  • Perform incremental compliance reviews for referral source arrangements; including FMV, capacity, and physician credentialing assessments.
  • Communicate with key internal stakeholders and provide training and support, as needed, to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and DaVita polices
  • Define and understand problems, perform research, identify root cause, and evaluate alternatives to resolve the problem.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance our policies, processes, and databases
  • Assist in leading compliance team meetings, as needed
  • Foster long-term relationships with clinical operations teammates to build trust and create an environment where teammates feel comfortable to escalate concerns
  • Ability to manage projects for various initiatives across teams and departments
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Minimum travel requirement: up to 5%

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of teammates.
  • Ability to deal with confidential information or issues using discretion and judgment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems and software as needed.
  • Experience in risk management, data analysis, or healthcare compliance is a plus
  • Experience with platforms such as Tableau, Smartsheets, Sharepoint, or Salesforce is a plus

Salary/ Wage Range

$56,500.00 - $75,000.00 / year
