The Role
This role will start as a contract role and has the potential to move to a full time position after a successful contract period.
We’re looking for a mission-driven and highly motivated Analyst/Associate to support a variety of client and internal initiatives related to clean energy, utilities, and emerging climate technologies. This is a hands-on role suited for a generalist who is excited to contribute wherever needed, whether that’s conducting in-depth research, supporting operations, or helping prepare for stakeholder meetings.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a fast-paced consultancy and venture studio environment, with work that spans research, strategy development, and client engagement.
Responsibilities might include:
Research & Analysis:
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on emerging energy technologies, support cost-benefit analysis
Synthesize insights into memos, slide decks, and briefing materials for internal and client use
Operations Support:
Help maintain and improve internal databases and trackers (e.g., for partner outreach or market intelligence)
Support logistics, scheduling, and coordination across multi-stakeholder projects
Marketing & Content:
Assist with preparation and execution of external events, including helping develop supporting materials
Support newsletters, blog posts, and external communications when time allows and as capacity permits
Client Engagement
Assist in developing outward facing, client-ready presentations and reports
Qualifications/Desired Skills
1+ year of experience in a consulting, finance, or startup role (internships included)
Completed Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Strong interest and initial knowledge build up in clean energy, climate technology, and/or the utility sector
Proficient in with Excel, Powerpoint, and Microsoft suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to conduct in-depth research and synthesize complex topics clearly
Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and handle multiple tasks
Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Comfortable navigating and adopting a range of AI-powered platforms
Comfortable engaging clients and stakeholders
