Shape the future of trust in the age of AI
At Oscilar, we're building the most advanced AI Risk Decisioning™ Platform. Banks, fintechs, and digitally native organizations rely on us to manage their fraud, credit, and compliance risk with the power of AI. If you're passionate about solving complex problems and making the internet safer for everyone, this is your place.

Why join us:
  • Mission-driven teams: Work alongside industry veterans from Meta, Uber, Citi, and Confluent, all united by a shared goal to make the digital world safer.

  • Ownership and impact: We believe in extreme ownership. You'll be empowered to take responsibility, move fast, and make decisions that drive our mission forward.

  • Innovate at the cutting edge: Your work will shape how modern finance detects fraud and manages risk.

The role:

Most people representing AML technology on sales calls haven't worked a case queue in years. The practitioners who have — the analysts and managers who've triaged alerts, filed SARs under deadline, and argued with a BSA officer about whether something warranted a filing — those people are rare. And they're the ones your future customers actually listen to.

You'll sit alongside Oscilar's Product, Risk, AI Agents, and GTM teams — and in front of our customers. Your job is to be the practitioner voice in every room: sales calls where a fraud analyst or BSA officer wants to know if we understand their workflow, FDE deployments where an AML agent needs to be calibrated against real typologies, and customer calls where someone needs a peer who has worked their kind of institution — not just a large bank.

What you'll do:

On sales calls: You're the domain credibility. When a compliance officer at a fintech, bank or a Canadian credit union asks whether we understand their SAR/STR process, your answer should come from having done it. You'll show up on customer conversations alongside our solutions engineers and AEs to drive adoption and customer success.

On FDE and Agents deployments: You'll define what "good" looks like for AML agent behavior. When our AI agent generates a SAR narrative or triages an alert, you're the person who knows whether that decision would hold up in a real investigation — and can articulate why to both the product team and the customer.

On customer calls: Existing customers need a practitioner peer when they're pushing Oscilar's AML capabilities into new use cases. You'll support implementation calls, QBRs, and technical deep dives where AML judgment is the constraint.

On the product: You'll feed the roadmap from the bottom — what breaks in a 300-alert queue, where the auto-narrative doesn't match how a real analyst would write it, which typologies our detection misses for the specific populations you've worked. Your SME counterparts cover the strategic and regulatory layer. Together, the full picture gets to the team.

What we're looking for:
  • You've spent most of your career as an AML analyst and manager, and credits if you have policy and advisory experience. You've worked a case queue. You've had the conversation with a transaction monitoring system that won't let you close an alert the way you want to. You know what a Tier 1 review feels like at 4pm on a Friday before a holiday weekend.

  • Crucially: you've done this at more than one kind of institution. If your entire background is one large bank, this isn't the right fit. We need someone who can walk into a call with a neobank in Canada, a mid-market payment company in the UK, and a community bank in Ohio — and credibly speak to what AML operations looks like in each of those contexts. The problems are different. The regulatory environments are different. The tools are different. You know this from firsthand experience, not from reading about it.

  • You've worked with technology — not just around it. You have an opinion on AI-assisted case management because you've used it or watched someone use it. You understand explainability as a compliance concept, not just a technical one. You're not threatened by automation; you're the person who can tell the engineering team why their first version of the SAR narrative agent is wrong in ways that matter to a regulator.

  • CAMS preferred. Multi-institution background required. Experience with Canada (FINTRAC/PCMLTFA) or UK/EU (FCA, JMLSG, AMLD) is a strong positive — we're growing fast in both markets and need someone who can speak to those regulatory environments as a peer.

The team you'll work with:

Oscilar's team spans two pedigrees: engineers who've built risk infrastructure at some of the most technically demanding companies in the world, and practitioners who've worked financial crime, fraud, and compliance at leading banks, fintechs, and payments networks across the US, UK, EU and beyond.

On the product side, you'll work alongside an AML architecture and AI team that's building the agents you'll be calibrating and defending in the field. You support and drive the full practitioner spectrum across all of risk with the product and risk SMEs

You work day-to-day with Product, Customer Success and Sales. In a company this size, what you hear in the field this week shapes what ships next week.

You'll be building the playbook, not inheriting one.

What success looks like in 90 days:
  • You've been on 50+ customer and sales calls and GTM teams are proactively pulling you in — not being asked to

  • You've identified and driven change on at least 3 specific product gaps in the AML solution that the team didn't already know about

  • Your Risk SME counterparts consider you the peer they didn't have before — someone they can hand off a customer to without briefing you on what AML is

  • You've demonstrated the ability to speak credibly to multiple distinct institution types (e.g., a Canadian bank, a payment company, a fintech) in the same week

Benefits
  • Compensation: Competitive salary and equity packages, including a 401k plan

  • Flexibility: Remote-first culture — work from anywhere

  • Health: 100% Employer covered comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with a top tier plan for you and your dependents (US)

  • Balance: Unlimited PTO policy

  • Technical: AI First company; both Co-Founders are engineers at heart; and over 50% of the company is Engineering and Product

  • Culture: Family-Friendly environment; Regular team events and offsites

  • Development: Unparalleled learning and professional development opportunities

  • Impact: Making the internet safer by protecting online transactions
