What will you do?
A day in the life of a Sr Demand Planning & Revenue Forecasting Analyst at Altra looks a little like this.
You’ll work within the Sales Operations team supporting the America’s Wholesale region. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Planning, and Finance teams to deliver accurate demand and revenue forecasts that drive business decisions. Your role is all about building predictive models, analyzing trends, and providing actionable insights to align sales strategies with financial goals. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations.
Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
Partner with Sales, Planning, and Finance to refine seasonal demand and revenue forecasts
Analyze sell-through and historical sales data to identify trends and improve forecast accuracy
Build predictive models to support demand planning and revenue forecasting
Support the S&OP process with scenario modeling and actionable insights
Present data-driven recommendations to leadership for strategic decision-making
What do you need to succeed?
We’re looking for someone with 2+ years of experience in demand planning, revenue forecasting, or a related field. A background in supply chain or financial planning is ideal.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
Strong analytical and modeling skills with attention to detail
Proficiency with forecasting tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Advanced Excel skills and experience with statistical modeling
Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly
There are also a few skills that are not required but beneficial.
Experience in the outdoor or footwear industry
Familiarity with ERP systems, data modeling, and advanced planning tools

Hiring Range:
$67,392.00 USD - $84,240.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
