The Air Quality Manager will play a key role in managing and overseeing air quality programs and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, specifically in relation to air emissions and the consent decree agreements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of environmental regulations, emissions monitoring, and a strong commitment to maintaining and improving air quality in the region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage air emissions monitoring activities in FourPoint assets, ensuring accurate and timely data collection.
  • Conduct regular reviews of emissions reports, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Prepare and submit periodic emissions reports to relevant regulatory agencies, ensuring transparency and compliance with reporting timelines.
  • Manage and prepare documentation required for Air Permits from state and federal agencies for FourPoint facilities and operations.
  • Manage all activities related to the EPA Consent Decree, ensuring that the company adheres to the terms and conditions outlined in the decree.
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, operational, and environmental teams to ensure effective implementation of consent decree requirements and reporting.
  • Oversee and assist with the development and execution of corrective actions to address any non-compliance, disclosures, or deficiencies outlined in the Consent Decree.
  • Oversee and assist with the development and data collection and retainment tools for information required and reported to the EPA as outlined in the Consent Decree.
  • Track and report progress on compliance with the Consent Decree, ensuring timely completion of required actions and documentation.
  • Stay up to date with local, state, and federal air quality regulations, including EPA guidelines, UDAQ, and the Clean Air Act.
  • Monitor and interpret changes to regulatory requirements and their impact on the company’s operations.
  • Develop strategies and recommend improvements to ensure ongoing compliance with air quality standards and permit conditions.
  • Work closely with local, state, and federal environmental agencies to ensure alignment on air quality goals and compliance strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, legal, and safety, to implement air emissions controls and improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for air quality-related inquiries and concerns from stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and industry partners.
  • Procure and manage 3rd party and environmental engineering and consulting groups to help manage FourPoint air emissions requirements.
  • Train and educate staff on air quality regulations, emissions monitoring, and best practices for compliance.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions to ensure all team members are aware of air quality standards and their role in maintaining compliance.

Qualifications
Education, Skills and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental compliance, with a focus on air emissions management.
  • Strong understanding of air quality regulations, including federal and state environmental laws (e.g., EPA regulations, Clean Air Act).
  • Experience managing and ensuring compliance with consent decrees and other legal agreements.
  • Utilize Intelex ACTS for collecting and managing asset emissions inventory
  • Familiarity with air emissions calculations and modeling software such as ProMax
  • Proven ability to analyze emissions data, prepare detailed reports, and communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Experience working in the Uinta Basin or similar oil and gas or industrial sectors is highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop practical solutions to complex compliance issues.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing, sitting, walking, bending, visual and mental acuity, hearing, manual dexterity, speaking.
  • Ability to work at computer for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in oilfield wellsite operational environment.
  • Ability and license to operate a company vehicle.
Environmental Conditions
  • Work is indoors in office environment as well as outdoors in oilfield environment. 
  • May be exposed to and must be able to drive in adverse weather conditions (snow, rain, ice, wind, cold, heat, etc.) and may be exposed to constant noise, flammable fluids, H2S fumes, and fluids under high pressure.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual Salary $165,000-$195,000
  • Eligible for annual incentive compensation
