Deeply Digital, LLC is a communications, construction, and consulting company in Montrose, Colorado serving the entire western slope. Its sister company, Clearnetworx, provides ISP services to the surrounding region. Our entire team represents the company on the front lines, and all members work as a team to fulfill the needs of our customers. The Excavation Support person is a laborer who performs a variety of manual tasks outdoors in all weather conditions; including digging, laying conduit, helping with machinery, etc. This is all done while working in a safe and effective manner.


Deeply Digital's outside plant focuses primarily on placing underground and aerial fiber for telecommunications. Its services include line, coaxial, and optical fiber cable placement, splicing, and home installation.

Purpose:  

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the organization's success by performing assigned duties and responsibilities efficiently and effectively. The AI Solutions Architect position involves collaborating with team members, adhering to company policies, and striving to achieve both individual and collective goals. Position Overview: 
The AI Solutions Architect leads the AIOps team and serves as the technical authority for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and AIOps across the organization. Reporting to the Enterprise Architect, this role is responsible for developing team capabilities, establishing technical standards and governance, defining AI architecture and implementation patterns, and driving the adoption of intelligent technologies that support business and operational objectives.  

 

Working in partnership with Engineering – Developers, NetOps, SecOps, GIS, DataOps, and business leaders, the AI Solutions Architect ensures that AI initiatives align with enterprise architecture principles, business objectives, operational requirements, and security standards. The role provides technical leadership for AI-powered automation, operational intelligence, knowledge management, and autonomous workflow initiatives while establishing a scalable foundation for future AI capabilities.  

 

The AI Solutions Architect is responsible for evaluating emerging technologies, developing reference architectures, establishing governance policies, and promoting consistent implementation practices that enable teams to deliver secure, maintainable, and measurable AI-driven solutions. Through collaboration and technical leadership, this role helps advance the organization's long-term vision for intelligent operations, automation, and data-driven decision making. 

The position will report to the Systems Administrator Manager.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the product and technical owner of the Deep-Sync platform, including architecture, roadmap, governance, operational support, and integration strategy.  
  • Lead the design and implementation of AI-powered applications, agents, and automation workflows.  
  • Lead and develop the AIOps team, including technical direction, mentoring, and adoption of AI, ML, and automation best practices.  
  • Develop and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using internal documentation, knowledge bases, and operational data.  
  • Integrate AI capabilities into existing applications, platforms, and business processes.  
  • Design APIs, integrations, and data pipelines that support AI initiatives.  
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives.  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation and operational improvement opportunities.  
  • Establish AI development standards, best practices, and governance.  
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership for AI-related projects. 

Required Qualifications  

  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms, workflow orchestration, API development, and domain/event-driven architectures.  
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field.  
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, data engineering, AI engineering, or a related discipline.  
  • Experience designing and implementing AI-powered applications, automation platforms, and enterprise integrations.  
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and modern application development practices.  
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and AI orchestration frameworks.  
  • Experience developing solutions in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Ruby, or similar programming languages.  
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and CI/CD practices.  
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and semantic search.  
  • Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar 
  • Experience with Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.  
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms and domain/event-driven architectures.  
  • Familiarity with telecommunications, GIS, network operations, or operational technology environments.
