About the roleThe traditional process for financing clean energy is manual, opaque, and slow. We’ve built products that solve part of that problem — now we’re expanding their breadth and depth with AI. We’re hiring our first AI Product Engineer to work hand-in-hand with customers, product, commercial, and legal teams to reimagine the way transactions happen in clean energy finance, starting with diligence.
You won’t just be building features — you’ll be co-designing the processes and systems that define how we ship high-quality AI products at Crux.
Much of this framework doesn’t exist yet — and you’ll help invent it using first principles.

Proven experience building and shipping user-facing LLM products

Benefits
Healthcare: We cover 100% of premiums for employees with a variety of plans on Aetna (nationwide) and Kaiser (WA and California) and subsidize 70% for dependents (total as a group), if relevant.
Dental & vision: We cover 100% of premiums for employees and 50% for dependents (each), if relevant.
Holidays: 10 company holidays per year.
Paid time off: 20 days per year.
401k: We support a 401k account but don't have a matching program set up at this time (typical for an early-stage startup).
Parental leave: 16 weeks for birthing parents and 12 weeks for non-birthing parents.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $130,000 - $200,000+ depending on leveling/years of experience.
Company Wide Bonus: $20,000 - $30,000, tied to revenue goals.
Stock options in a rapidly growing company.
