Abnormal Security is revolutionizing both cybersecurity and internal operations through advanced AI solutions. As we scale, we're establishing AI Transformation Pods to drive operational efficiency across our organization. These pods report directly to the CEO, providing unprecedented visibility and opportunity to shape company-wide AI strategy.
The AI-Native PM leads the development of internal AI solutions, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency across Abnormal Security. This role requires a blend of product thinking, technical understanding of AI capabilities, and entrepreneurial drive. You'll report directly to the CEO while working closely with functional executives and the CIO to identify high-value opportunities and build AI solutions that drive meaningful operational change.
What you will do- Lead a dedicated AI transformation pod (1 AI-Native PM + 2 Engineers)
- Identify high-impact opportunities for AI transformation
- Define product requirements and roadmaps for AI solutions
- Collaborate with business analysts to validate problem statements
- Manage the full product lifecycle from conception to deployment
- Measure and report on impact of deployed solutions
- Present to leadership and potential users
- Coordinate with AI Platform team on infrastructure needs
- Technical degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc.)
- Coursework in AI/ML, product development, or entrepreneurship
- Product management experience with demonstrable AI product expertise
- Prior work experience in Software Engineering
- Strong understanding of LLMs, agents, and modern AI capabilities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills at the executive level
- Ability to translate complex operational problems into AI-powered solutions
- Track record of measuring and communicating business impact to stakeholders
- Comfort presenting to and engaging with C-suite executives and board members
- Proficient in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Experience with AI tools (Cursor, v0, Claude Code, etc.)
- GitHub profile or portfolio showing self-initiated projects
- Prior work experience at an enterprise software company is nice to have
- Internships at tech companies (especially startups)
- Research assistant positions in AI/ML labs
- Hackathon participation and awards
- Product-focused roles or projects
- Open source contributions
