Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of AI-enabled workflows and software applications
  • Assist with integrating AI/ML models into application environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and contribute to AI-driven solutions
  • Help develop orchestration logic and automation workflows for AI use cases
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code under team guidance and development standards
  • Support testing, monitoring, and improvement of AI systems and software applications
  • Stay current with emerging AI, LLM, and software development practices

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, data science, or a related technical field
  • GE Aerospace will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Provide a valid LinkedIn profile.
  • Coursework, internship, co-op, or project experience in software development and/or AI/ML
  • Foundational programming skills in Python and familiarity with common development tools such as GitHub, JupyterHub, or Visual Studio
  • Interest in building AI-driven applications and learning how to deploy models in software environments
  • Exposure to prompt engineering, model evaluation, or applied AI concepts through coursework, internships, or projects
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
  • Exposure to containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes is a plus
  • Exposure to orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar is a plus
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, including LLMs
  • Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical team members and stakeholders

This role will require in-person attendance for New Hire Orientation on Day 1.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
