As an AI Integration Engineer on AutoStore’s Simulation team, you’ll play a pivotal role in fusing cutting-edge AI technologies with one of the industry’s most advanced warehouse simulation platforms. This team is responsible for designing and simulating both new and existing AutoStore systems— powering over 1,700 installations worldwide. You’ll collaborate with a focused group of 10–15 skilled developers distributed across North America and Europe, driving innovation at the intersection of intelligent automation and scalable logistics.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Adapt and enhance existing simulation solutions using AI, enabling more intelligent simulation behavior and more data-driven decision-making.
- Work closely with simulation developers to embed AI components into the current architecture.
- Transform AI prototypes into robust, productized features within the simulator, bridging the gap between experimentation and production-ready tools.
- Help maintain and further strengthen the state-of-the-art AutoStore warehouse simulation tool suite.
- 5+ years of experience with C#, C++ or other related languages
- Experience with modern frontend-backend solutions.
- Comfortable working in Azure and Linux environments
- Good understanding of modern AI solutions and frameworks (PyTorch, LLMs)
- Team-oriented mindset and used to working with developers, product owners and UX designers across different regions.
- Willingness to get up early (6 am) to communicate with stakeholders and developers in Europe.
- Experience with introducing AI tools and solutions into existing software solutions.
