JOB TITLE: AI Engineer

LOCATION: Remote

COMMITMENT: Full-time (Contractor) 

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Engineer to join our team. This role requires a blend of technical prowess and visionary thinking to build and maintain innovative AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and possess the ability to drive projects forward with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities:

• Project Development:

  • Build technically strong, independent projects from scratch, including open-source projects or functioning products.
  • Ideate and execute on product ideas end-to-end.
  • Rapidly create and implement new features, often within the same day.

• Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Work effectively in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with minimal directional oversight.
  • Contribute to the vision of relational computing with insightful and innovative ideas.

• Technical Implementation:

  • Implement and optimize retrieval for LLM-based applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using C, C++, Python, and functional languages like SML/OCaml.
  • Perform low-level programming in C/C++/Assembly.

Qualifications:

1. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
   • 5+ years of experience building independent projects from scratch, demonstrating the ability to ideate and execute end-to-end.
   • 5+ years of experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments, ideally within startups.
   • Strong mastery of C, C++, Python, and functional languages like SML/OCaml, with 5+ years of experience in low-level programming in C/C++/Assembly.
   • Proven ability to implement retrieval in LLM-based applications.
