Build and deploy AI voice agents to handle inbound intake calls, integrate them with CRMs and tracking tools, design and iterate call flows and escalation logic, monitor performance, and expand AI automations and integrations across internal and client-facing workflows.
We're looking for an AI Enablement Specialist to help MeanPug build and deploy AI-powered workflows across the company. Your initial focus will be on our new intake function, specifically building and configuring AI voice agents to handle overflow inbound calls for law firm clients. Over time, this role expands into broader AI initiatives across our agency: internal automations, client-facing tools, and operational workflow improvements.
This is a hands-on builder role. We're not looking for someone who can advise on AI strategy at a high level. We need someone who can actually get in and build things, integrate platforms, and iterate quickly based on real-world results.
What you'll do
Near-term: intake AI
- Build and configure AI voice agents for inbound call handling, working closely with our Legal Intake Manager to ensure conversations meet client qualification standards
- Integrate voice agent platforms with law firm CRMs, intake systems, and call tracking tools
- Design and iterate on call flows, qualification logic, escalation triggers, and handoff protocols
- Monitor voice agent performance and continuously improve based on call transcripts, conversion data, and client feedback
Longer-term: broader AI enablement
- Identify and build automation workflows that eliminate repetitive internal tasks across the agency
- Develop AI-powered tools and integrations that improve how our teams deliver work for clients
- Evaluate and recommend new AI platforms, tools, and approaches as the space evolves
- Document what you build so the team can maintain, iterate, and scale it without you being the bottleneck
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience building AI workflows, automations, or integrations in a production environment
- Hands-on experience with AI voice agent platforms such as Bland AI, Vapi, Retell AI, Eleven Labs, or similar
- Strong understanding of how to design conversation flows, intent logic, and escalation handling for voice or chat agents
- Experience integrating AI tools with third-party platforms via APIs, webhooks, or no-code/low-code tools such as Make, Zapier, or n8n
- Comfortable working across the full build cycle, from scoping and prototyping through deployment and iteration
- Strong documentation habits, you build things other people can understand and maintain
- Self-directed and comfortable operating in an environment where the roadmap is still being defined
- Experience building AI workflows in a legal, healthcare, or other regulated industry context
- Familiarity with legal CRM or intake platforms such as Clio, Litify, or Lead Docket
- Experience with LLM prompt engineering or fine-tuning for specific use cases
- Working knowledge of Python or JavaScript for custom integrations
- Background in digital marketing or agency operations
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Company-sponsored 401(k) with matching
- Flexible work schedule, work when and where you're most productive as long as deliverables are met
- Up to $500 reimbursement for pet adoption fees or vaccinations
- Technology stipend for equipment setup
- Professional development opportunities
