Job Title

AI Enablement & Automation AnalystThis position is part of CoorsTek’s Information Technology organization and supports the execution and adoption of the company’s enterprise Artificial Intelligence program. The role focuses on enabling employees to use AI and automation safely and effectively by providing hands-on coaching, solution guidance, and operational support for enterprise AI tools.
The position works closely with teams across the organization to identify opportunities for AI and automation, improve how AI tools are used in practice, and ensure AI capabilities are scalable, well-supported, and aligned with IT standards. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment in applying AI technologies, and the ability to operate across a diverse and evolving set of AI-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

AI Enablement & User Engagement

  • Engage directly with employees and teams to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for AI or automation.
  • Translate user needs into practical AI and automation approaches aligned with IT standards and enterprise architecture.
  • Coach employees on safe and effective use of AI tools, including hands-on guidance and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver training through workshops, office hours, and individual sessions to build AI capability across the organization.
  • Serve as a primary IT point of contact for questions related to AI usage, automation, and supported tools.

Solution Assessment & Implementation

  • Assess incoming AI and automation requests and determine the appropriate approach (coaching, co-building, direct implementation, or escalation).
  • Design and prototype lightweight AI-powered workflows and automations using enterprise tools, low-code platforms, or basic scripting.
  • Occasionally own delivery of AI or automation solutions when speed, clarity, or business impact requires it.
  • Integrate workflows into platforms such as Moveworks to improve usability, accessibility, and adoption.

AI Program Administration & Operations

  • Administer enterprise AI tools, including user access management, onboarding, configuration, and first-line support.
  • Manage intake, triage, tracking, and prioritization of AI-related requests and initiatives.
  • Monitor usage, adoption trends, and operational issues across AI tools.
  • Maintain documentation, internal knowledge bases, and user guidance materials.
  • Support rollout of new AI capabilities and enhancements to existing tools.
  • Participate in vendor discovery and evaluation activities from an IT perspective.

User Feedback & Continuous Improvement

  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize user feedback on AI tools, workflows, and training effectiveness.
  • Identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement in AI capabilities and user experience.
  • Partner with internal IT teams, Centers of Excellence, and vendors to improve AI tools and processes.
  • Help ensure AI solutions evolve based on real-world usage and employee needs.

Governance, Risk, and IT Alignment

  • Operate within established IT governance frameworks, supporting secure, compliant, and responsible use of AI technologies.
  • Apply AI, data, and security policies in day-to-day enablement and tool administration.
  • Identify technical, security, or compliance risks and escalate through IT-defined processes.
  • Collaborate with IT security, architecture, and Centers of Excellence to align AI usage with enterprise standards.
  • Act as a connective role across AI-related initiatives within the IT organization.

Success Criteria

  • Employees demonstrate increased confidence and capability in using AI and automation tools.
  • Manual and repetitive work is reduced through effective use of AI-enabled solutions.
  • Enterprise AI tools are well-adopted, well-supported, and continuously improved.
  • User feedback is consistently incorporated into AI tool enhancements and enablement practices.
  • The role is recognized as a trusted IT partner for AI enablement and operational support.

Qualifications

  • Required
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
    • Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) in a professional context.
    • Demonstrated ability to coach or support users with varying levels of technical proficiency.
    • Applied understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible-use considerations.
    • Experience with basic scripting or automation (Python or JavaScript preferred).
    • Familiarity with APIs, workflows, and enterprise integration concepts.
    • Ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently in a dynamic IT environment.
  • Preferred
    • Bachelors or equivalent work experience.
    • Experience supporting citizen development or internal enablement programs.
    • Familiarity with automation, workflow, or low-code platforms.
    • Experience administering or supporting enterprise SaaS tools.
    • Experience gathering and acting on user feedback to improve platforms or services.
    • Experience creating training materials, documentation, or internal communications.

Travel Requirements

  • This role may require occasional travel to support training, enablement, and collaboration with teams at other CoorsTek locations.

Organizational Context

  • Part of the Information Technology organization
  • Works closely with AI leadership, IT security, IT architecture, Centers of Excellence, and business units. 

Target Hiring Range

Annual Salary: USD 82,143.00 - USD 108,429.00
