1. The Channel Closer (Partner Ecosystem)
- The Mission: Our Regional Partner Managers (RPMs) own the relationships; you own the win.
- The Action: When a partner identifies an opportunity, you step in as the Artificial Intelligence authority. You will educate the client on Expedient’s AI offering, validate the technical fit, and work lock-step with the partner to close the deal.
- The Mission: Marketing identifies the interest; you create the opportunity.
- The Action: You will receive warm leads from our marketing organization. Your job is to identify the real opportunities, set the meetings immediately, and manage the full sales cycle through close for Expedient AI CTRL. A lead is just a start—your tenacity turns it into revenue.
- The Mission: Elevate our existing field sales team.
- The Action: You act as the specialist overlay for our Field Account Executives. When they uncover potential in an opportunity they are working, you parachute in to explain the product, align the Artificial Intelligence strategy to their specific business goals, and prove the ROI to the client.
- Develop a deep understanding of the AI CTRL services portfolio and effectively articulate its value proposition to prospective customers.
- Stay current on the AI landscape to understand our competitive advantages and position Expedient as a leader in the AI/IT space.
- Maintain records in Salesforce, provide accurate sales forecasts, and report on pipeline development and sales goal attainment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, SDR/BDR, customer success, or related customer-facing roles
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and qualify leads or support sales activities (cold outreach, follow-ups, discovery calls).
- Basic familiarity with AI, machine learning, or cloud technology concepts and a clear eagerness to deepen technical knowledge quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable participating in demos and customer meetings with guidance from senior team members.
- Experience using a CRM to track activity and opportunities (Salesforce experience is a plus but not required).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and follow sales processes for forecasting and reporting.
- Team-oriented and coachable—able to work effectively with marketing, channel partners, and field sales.
- Self-motivated, persistent, and focused on building a career in technology sales.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; relevant certifications or training in sales/AI are a plus.
