Main Purpose
The Finance team’s vision is to provide a scalable financial platform that records accurate transactions to provide a best-in-class experience for our workers and clients. As part of the Indeed Flex Finance team, this role creates, develops, and maintains processes that help ensure that post-shift operations go through as seamlessly as possible. This role requires great collaboration and partnership with all departments in Indeed Flex.
This is a short-term position which will last a minimum of three months, with potential for extension.
This position is onsite in Austin, TX (at The Domain), five days per week, with the option to work from home on Thursdays.
Qualifications & Skills
- Reconciliations of time and attendance (T&A)
- Billing and payroll function experience
- Previous experience working in the staffing industry or working with staffing agencies
- The ability to investigate and resolve timesheet issues quickly and logically
- Willingness/ability to make outbound calls to staffing agencies
- Ability to use context clues to piece together incomplete information
- Ability to adapt to evolving processes
- Ability to adapt to new business processes and data flows and the impact they have on financial results
Responsibilities & Duties

- Playing an integral role in managing all day-to-day timesheet operations, liaising between clients, agency partners, and Flex’s internal Account Managers.
- Contacting Agencies to identify timesheet issues and collating the key issues and presenting back to our Product and Partnerships teams.
- Reconciliations of time and attendance (T&A) between client and agency data on our Order Management System on completed shifts.
- Time Import or manual upload of timesheets for clients & agencies not on the Indeed Flex ERP system.
- Supporting implementation of new processes and procedures, contributing to the successful operations of the business and with key stakeholders.
- Support the billing and payroll functions by ensuring accurate information is provided to both functions by leveraging systems, tools, and processes.
- Meet business and individual KPIs and targets.
- Support on ad hoc projects to identify and drive efficiencies and process improvements
- $23 to $25 hourly pay

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment or remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment to complete daily responsibilities and duties. If working in a remote office environment, a clean, designated workspace must be kept in a safe condition, free from hazards to both the employee and the equipment. Remote office positions also require reliable, high-speed internet.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
Hours are Monday - Friday, regular business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
This position requires minimal travel, less than 25% of the time. Most travel is outside of the local area and will require overnight accommodations.
All travel is subject to the Indeed Flex travel policy and will be recompensed per the policy. It is the responsibility of the employee to understand and abide by the Indeed Flex Travel Policy in order to receive appropriate expense reimbursements.
