Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to innovate key enabling technologies in cutting-edge projects.

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of glass interposer reliability linked to design, fabrication, and assembly processes.

  • Design and execute test vehicles, stress tests, and characterization plans to rigorously assess glass interposer reliability.

  • Perform thermo-mechanical FEA analyses to support product performance and reliability assessments.

  • Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs) to proactively identify design risks and bolster product reliability.

  • Assist in module design activities for existing and future product innovations, enhancing overall development efforts.

  • Liaise with vendors to finalize and validate design specifications for new parts, ensuring they meet project requirements.

  • Engage in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that promotes rapid advancement of groundbreaking technologies and solutions.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (MATLAB, ML/AI)
  • Extensive experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • Strong statistical analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice-To-Have:

  • Experience with ANSYS and Zemax
  • Familiarity with CREO or Solidworks      
  • Knowledge of optical design
