Your role in helping us shape the future:
Our CollegeAdvisor.com Sales Specialists are trusted guides for prospective CollegeAdvisor.com clients who are in the middle of their college search and application process. Specialists are the second touchpoint for families that are deemed qualified leads who have already participated in a free 20-minute advising consultation. Specialists engage with potential clients through video calls who are interested in enrolling in our paid Admissions Programs, with the goal of closing sales within one or two conversations.
We aim to be the most customer-friendly and advisor-friendly college advising company in the world, prioritizing the interests of our customers and student advisors above all else. Our average client rating is 9.8/10 and we helped students gain admission to top schools such as Harvard, Stanford, U Penn, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, MIT, Dartmouth, Cornell, UCLA, UC Berkeley, USC, Emory, UVA, U Michigan, and win several prestigious scholarships including the Questbridge and Coca-Cola programs.

Review CollegeAdvisor.com’s online tools and benefits with families, primarily through video calls

Navigate an Online Demo for Families to showcase our Student Portal

Uncover the college search and application needs of prospective families and match them with the right CollegeAdvisor.com Program

Increase on-the-spot Program Enrollments
-
Schedule follow-up calls for qualified families
-
Work with our Sales VP, CEO, Head of Advising, and Sales Team to develop best practices and iterate on sales processes

Manage leads through CRM platforms
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
You should definitely have:

An outgoing personality with great energy and an excellent phone presence
-
Bachelor’s Degree
-
2+ years of Higher-Ed Admissions, Higher-Ed Sales, or Higher-Ed Counseling experience
-
Excellent collaboration and people skills to interact with staff, colleagues and customers
-
Strong communication and presentation skills
-
Ability to work with CRM and other digital tools
-
Have a passion for providing world class customer service
-
Enjoy working a non-traditional schedule primarily nights and weekends

Have experience selling to high school students and families
-
Exhibit a competitive & results driven attitude

Thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, team-oriented company

Have a strong interest in the college application, financial aid, and admissions process

Have applied and was accepted to multiple colleges and universities

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19.23 per hour. The actual based salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, interview performance, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
