SCMI1 has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Support Assistant position supporting the National Park Service (NPS), Denver Service Center (DSC). This group provides project management, contracting, and planning services for large design and construction projects located at National Park Service Sites Nationwide. The Administrative Support Assistant will support DSC’s efforts and mission in these areas.

- Serve as divisional timekeeper. Enters, maintains, and edits employees’ time and attendance records in the automated payroll system. Ensure account numbers are accurate.
- Coordinates travel arrangements for divisional staff. Ensure arrangements meet all travel needs. Provides detailed itineraries to travelers. Obtain required approvals and prepare travel authorizations and vouchers in accordance with standards, guidelines, and policies. Examine vouchers for accuracy and routes for approval. Establish and maintain travel spreadsheets.
- Reconcile monthly travel card statements.
- Coordinate and schedule divisional meetings.
- Maintain a professional demeanor in all communications and appearances.
- Provide ancillary services as needed in conjunction with assigned duties.
- Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of administrative experience in a professional office environment as an Administrative Assistant/Support personnel.
- Proficiency with computers and knowledge/experience with computer software with a focus on all Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Proficiency with data entry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain security clearance and clearing necessary background checks/assessments as required.
