Gearbox, le développeur des titres à succès Borderlands, Brothers In Arms et Battleborn, est à la recherche d'un(e) Administrateur(trice) de Système / Réseau pour joindre l’équipe TI. Basé à notre studio de Québec, vous vous assurerez que les services que vous supportez sont stables, sécuritaires et performants.

Le défi : Bâtir l'infrastructure de demain

Vous êtes un expert des systèmes qui croit fermement que si une tâche doit être faite deux fois, elle doit être automatisée ? Vous maîtrisez les serveurs et les réseaux, mais vous avez soif d'aller plus loin dans l'univers du Cloud et des conteneurs ?

Nous recherchons un Administrateur Système ayant un fort penchant pour le DevOps. Votre mission sera de maintenir nos fondations solides (Windows/Linux/Réseau) tout en propulsant notre environnement vers une culture d'automatisation complète, avec Kubernetes au cœur de notre stratégie.

Note sur l'environnement de travail : Cette position exige d’avoir un appareil mobile et implique occasionnellement des heures d’activité atypiques, les soirs et fins de semaine, pour soutenir une importante équipe de production. Ce rôle est hybride, nous encourageons de venir travailler au bureau mais comprenons que ce n’est pas toujours facile de s’y concentrer.

• L’Automatisation d’Abord : Identifier, concevoir et implémenter des scripts et des outils pour éliminer les tâches manuelles et répétitives.

• Maîtrise de Kubernetes : Gérer, optimiser et faire évoluer nos clusters K8s pour soutenir nos pipelines de production.

• Hybride Système & DevOps : Assurer la maintenance de nos serveurs (Linux/Windows) et de notre infrastructure de virtualisation tout en intégrant des pratiques CI/CD.

• Évolution continue : Se développer de façon autonome pour maîtriser les nouveaux outils DevOps et les intégrer intelligemment dans notre stack.

• Performance & Sécurité : Veiller à ce que l'infrastructure soit non seulement performante pour les développeurs de jeux, mais aussi ultra-sécurisée par design.

• Support & Collaboration : Travailler main dans la main avec les équipes de production pour comprendre leurs besoins techniques et leur offrir un support de classe mondiale.

• Gestion technique : Installer, sécuriser et gérer les différents logiciels et matériels technologiques, tout en surveillant les systèmes pour dépanner les pannes.

Technique (Les fondations) :

• Expérience solide en administration de serveurs (Linux et Windows) et en virtualisation (VMware, Nutanix).

• Connaissance des réseaux : VPN, protocoles de routage, gestion de pare-feu (PFsense, Cisco).

• Conteneurisation : Expérience pratique avec Kubernetes (k8s) et Docker (essentiel).

• Contrôle des sources : Maîtrise de Git et familiarité avec Perforce (ou volonté d'apprendre).

• Outillage : Expérience avec Jira, Confluence et les outils de ticketing.

Le "Mindset" (L'ADN) :

• Autonomie d'apprentissage : Vous êtes capable de plonger seul dans une nouvelle documentation technique pour en ressortir avec une solution fonctionnelle.

• Détermination : Vous plongez avec enthousiasme dans les problèmes qui vous sont assignés en quête de solutions.

• Rigueur documentaire : Vous croyez qu'une tâche n'est terminée que lorsque la documentation est claire et partageable.

• Bilinguisme : Excellente communication en français et en anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.

• Expérience concrète avec des outils CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

• Connaissance des Clouds publics (AWS, Azure ou GCP).

• Expérience dans l'industrie du jeu vidéo, incluant la compréhension des cycles de build et des contraintes de performance.

• Maîtrise d'un langage de scripting avancé (Python, Go, Bash ou PowerShell).

We are looking for a System Administrator with a strong inclination toward DevOps. Your mission will be to maintain our solid foundations (Windows/Linux/Network) while propelling our environment toward a culture of total automation, with Kubernetes at the heart of our strategy.

Note on Work Environment: This position requires a mobile device and involves atypical hours, including evenings and weekends, to support a large production team operating on an asymmetrical schedule. This role is hybrid; we encourage you to come into office but totally understand it’s not always easy to focus when on site.

Technical Foundations:

• Solid experience in server administration (Linux and Windows) and virtualization (VMware, Nutanix).

• Network Knowledge: VPNs, routing protocols, and firewall management (PFsense, Cisco).

• Containerization: Practical experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker is essential.

• Source Control: Proficiency in Git and familiarity with Perforce (or a willingness to learn).

• Tooling: Experience with Jira, Confluence, and ticketing tools.
