Labcorp is seeking a remote Accounts Receivable Specialist II to join our team!
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Job Responsibilities
Review and process denied insurance claims in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
Research payer requirements and analyze internal systems and databases to identify and resolve claim issues.
Contact physicians, insurance companies, and/or patients to obtain required information and determine next steps for claim resolution.
Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and records while responding to inquiries via phone and email.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate resolution of accounts receivable matters.
Train and support employees on billing processes and the use of computerized billing systems.
Apply strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail to manage a high volume of complex accounts.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent
3 years of healthcare billing experience
Preferred Qualifications
Associate Degree with 2 years of healthcare billing experience
Working knowledge of LabCorp’s billing systems
Additional Job Standards
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with numbers and research-related tasks.
Experience working with computerized databases and billing systems.

Pay Range: $18.50 – $20.00 per hour
