Accounts Receivable Representative (Omnicare)

Position Summary

The Accounts Receivable Representative is charged with maximizing cash flow, specifically by taking inbound and auto-dialer calls related to patient accounts. This role is essential to ensuring patient financial services are handled properly, and is responsible for helping patients understand their pharmaceutical charges & assisting in resolving any resident questions or concerns.
 

In this role, you will:

• Taking high-volume inbound calls as assigned, specifically from Omnicare customers.
• Completing collections as assigned.
• Working with multiple billing systems in order to accomplish departmental goals.
• Processing credit card payments from customers.
• Reviewing statements from patients, facilities, and nurses.
• Collaborate on tickets with various internal teams.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in collections.
• 1+ year of experience in a telephonic customer service environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel & Access.
• Strong computer navigation & typing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team-based environment.
• Ability to multi-task regularly and efficiently.
• Strong adaptability and time management skills.
• Previous knowledge of Medicare Part D and Medicaid.
• Previous experience with internal Omnicare systems.
• Previous experience in a work-from-home environment.
• Previous understanding of Accounts Receivable.

Education

• High school diploma or GED.

The typical pay range for this role is:

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
