Job Description:
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Assistant is responsible for managing all incoming payments and ensuring the company’s revenue is accurately recorded. This role maintains client relationships by ensuring invoices are issued correctly, payments are received on time, and any discrepancies are promptly resolved. While your duties will depend on the specific needs of your client, they will include, but not be limited to:
- Generate and send invoices to clients according to established terms.
- Record and reconcile all incoming payments.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Resolve client billing questions or disputes professionally.
- Prepare and maintain accounts receivable records and reports.
- Coordinate with sales and accounting teams to ensure revenue accuracy.
- Support month-end closing by verifying AR balances.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and financial statements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or collections.
- Knowledge of invoicing systems and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Excel and accounting software.
Technical Requirements
- Processor: Intel 11th Gen (or AMD Ryzen 5000 series) for Windows | M2 for Macs.
- RAM: 16 GB minimum.
- Internet: Stable connection of 25-50 Mbps minimum.

- 0-3 months: $1,200 USD/month
- After 3 months: You’ll receive a $50 monthly Wellness Bonus to support a healthy and balanced work life (total: $1,250/month).
- After 1 year: Salary increases to $1,340 USD/month
- After 2 years: Salary increases to $1,480 USD/month
- After 3 years: Salary increases to $1,540 USD/month
- After 4 years: Salary increases to $1,600 USD/month
Two Annual Adjustments: Every year, you benefit from two salary increases: one on your work anniversary, recognizing your continued tenure with WorkBetterNow, and one at the start of each calendar year, when all salary ranges are updated company-wide.
