A day in the life

Prologis is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to own day-to-day operations of the AP Service Desk and lead a team that delivers fast, accurate, and empathetic support to suppliers and internal stakeholders. This role will be responsible for ensuring completion of routine organizational tasks and driving policies and procedures for the AP Support Team. You’ll help set SLAs, coach the team, remove roadblocks on complex issues, and partner across Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and Accounting to drive first-contact resolution, timely payments, and a smooth vendor experience.

Key Responsibilities:

AP Helpdesk & Stakeholder Support

  • Oversee AP helpdesk associates (ticketing/queue management) who resolve vendor and internal team inquiries.
  • Define and maintain SLAs and set prioritization standards.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex supplier/payment inquiries (e.g., holds, tax/withholding, bank validation, urgent wires).
  • Analyze and report on daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs; run root-cause elimination for recurring issues; drive actions that lower ticket volumes.
  • Build and continuously improve training materials, troubleshooting guides, and standardized resolutions, ensuring tone, accuracy, and policy alignment.
  • Proactively review aging tickets, identifying bottlenecks and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding issues.

People Leadership

  • Hire, train, schedule, and coach helpdesk specialists; set goals, conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance reviews.
  • Foster a customer forward, data-driven culture with clear metrics and continuous feedback.
  • Develop standardized support schedules to ensure consistent coverage across multiple time zones.

Continuous Improvement & Projects

  • Own AP helpdesk KPI dashboards; Identifies improvements to reduce help desk submissions and resolution time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on upstream process improvements and automation initiatives, including PO creation, supplier portal improvements, AI agents, and RPA.
  • Support UAT and change management for AP system enhancements and policy changes.
  • Participate in audit and compliance reviews; provide timely evidence and remediation follow-up.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field from a four-year college or university
  • 3–5+ years in Accounts Payable or Shared Services
  • People management experience
  • Deep knowledge of end-to-end Accounts Payable functions
  • Hands-on experience with a major ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) and AP automation tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Tipalti, Basware).
  • Familiarity with SOX/internal controls, 3-way match, and audit requirements.
  • Service mindset with excellent communication; comfortable handling vendors and senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills with comfort in Excel/Sheets and dashboarding; able to translate data into action.

Hiring Salary Range of: $98,000 - $119,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
