About the role

As an Accounting Manager at Entrupy, you’ll play a key leadership role in ensuring the company’s financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. You will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead process improvements, and collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, people management skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you'll do

  • Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and revenue recognition across all Entrupy Group entities.
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across the Entrupy Group by coordinating internal activities and managing relationships with external accounting partners to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
  • Manage all customer and vendor financial workflows, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and vendor payments, using tools like Chargebee, Stripe, Zip and Brex.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy financial records and adherence with GAAP and local statutory requirements in each operating country.
  • Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, internal controls and documentation to support global business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, and Operations to ensure accurate billing, revenue recognition, and financial alignment across departments.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, and analyze actuals vs. budget to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for improved financial performance.
  • Mentor junior accounting staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback while fostering a culture of accountability and growth.

What you bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. CPA or a master’s degree in Accounting or Finance is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role. Experience, ideally with exposure to multiple legal entities or international environments. Prior experience in high-growth SaaS or technology environment is a plus.
  • Analytical Rigor: Ability to synthesize complex financial data, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making across the business.
  • Process Mindset: Comfort working in a growing company where accounting processes are evolving and improving.
  • Business Thinking: Demonstrated ability to align accounting practices with broader business objectives, assess financial risks and opportunities, and contribute to long-term planning at both the entity and group level.
  • Systems Knowledge: Strong proficiency in modern accounting systems and tools such as Xero, Planful, Zip, Brex, and Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with revenue recognition and subscription billing tools (e.g., Chargebee) is a plus.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Comfort operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and a proactive approach to problem-solving, change management, and cross-border collaboration.
