About the Role:We are seeking a motivated Financial Accounting Intern to join our collaborative accounting and finance team. This internship offers hands-on experience in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end close processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in pursuing a career in accounting or finance.
Specific responsibilities:- Assist with daily accounting operations, including data entry and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and close processes
- Help prepare financial statements and internal reports
- Maintain and organize accounting records and documentation
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Participate in audits and compliance-related tasks as needed
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
