Accounting Engineer

We're hiring an Accounting Engineer to join our growing Accounting Engineering team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the team to build and scale systems that deliver best-in-class accounting and Client Reporting services for a wide range of blockchain networks. From initial design to full deployment, your work will power the infrastructure behind critical financial data used by both internal teams and external clients.

This role combines software engineering, financial systems design, and blockchain infrastructure expertise. You'll develop robust, scalable, and secure systems that operate across various blockchain networks—each with its own unique architecture, accounting challenges, and operational needs.

• Design & Launch Accounting Infrastructure: Architect accounting systems for new and existing blockchain networks, from early planning to full-scale deployment.

• Build Tools & Services: Develop accounting services and tooling (SDKs, libraries, pipelines) using modern languages like Go and Rust, selecting the best tools for each unique challenge.

• Ensure System Integrity: Prioritize security, data accuracy, and system hardening to maintain trust in mission-critical financial systems.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with protocol teams, finance leads, and engineers across disciplines to solve complex challenges and deliver clean, actionable financial data.

• Operate at Scale: Create systems that reconcile and present financial data for millions of dollars of on-chain assets with high precision and resilience.

• 4 to 8+ years of experience designing, building and launching successful software or systems engineering projects.

• Experience working with tools like AWS or GCP and knowledge of how to deploy and operate cloud-native systems.

• Prior experience working with accounting systems or financial data pipelines - ideally in the crypto or fintech space.

• Proficient in SQL and one or more general-purpose language (e.g.: Go, Python or Rust).

• Background in designing accounting APIs or tooling that supports finance teams.

• Self-directed, curious and energized by solving novel problems.

• Deep interest in crypto and appreciation of the technical and financial complexity it introduces.

• Familiarity with financial audit requirements or crypto-native reporting frameworks.

• Contributions to open-source crypto or accounting tools.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Start-up experience is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $160k to $200k. This position is eligible for incentive compensation in the form of a bonus.
