As an Accounting Analyst – Contracts, you will play a vital role in ensuring that customer contracts are accurately reflected in our revenue recognition processes. Your attention to detail will directly impact on financial integrity and customer satisfaction by ensuring that invoices are processed timely, precisely, and aligned with contract terms. Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret the most complex legal documents. This position is key to delivering exceptional customer experience and supporting CSG’s commitment to operational and financial accuracy.
We are looking for a Contract Accounting Analyst who will:
- Ensure contract accounting policies and processes are consistently applied in compliance with the terms and conditions of legally executed customer agreements.
- Interpret complex and detailed contracts to ensure that customer pricing and billing accurately reflect the contractual intent, including agreements such as Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Letters of Authorization (LOAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Technical Service Agreements (TSAs), and Change Orders.
- Conduct regular contract review meetings with key stakeholders—Product Management, Finance, Legal, and Client Services to ensure alignment, clarity, and smooth execution of billing for contract deliverables.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on specific customer contracts and across multiple CSG Lines of Business: Cable, Utilities, Print Solutions, Interactive Messaging, Ascendon, Insurance and Managed Services.
- Accountable for Kiosk management includes: Unit tracking of serial numbers, location placement, relocation, maintenance, and equipment end of life cycle and invoicing.
- Conducts routine audit reviews on pricing of one time and recurring billable services to ensure the billing is timely, accurate and complete.
- Accountable for implementing annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Producer Price Index (PPI) increases as defined in customer Agreements, using the percentage outlined from the Labor of Bureau Statistics.
- Manage Assigned contracts annual customer price escalations, ensuring timely and accurate updates based on contractual agreements and financial guidelines.
- Monitor the utilization of Oracle Projects to ensure project event milestones and billable hours are accurately configured and invoiced in alignment with contractual requirements and financial policies.
- Ensure Project Managers approve draft invoices timely once work is complete and ready for invoicing.
- Responsible for releasing draft invoices from the Oracle Project module.
- Ensuring all revenue is accurately amortized and recognized in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Work closely with key stakeholders regarding Contract interpretation and intent. Responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting Service Commitment Allowance Hours.
- Manage pricing strategies that include Volume Sensitivity\Discounting Tiered Pricing structures.
- Conduct, Present and lead out in Contract and Invoice Review Meetings.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting or Business highly preferred 3+ years of related experience.
- Ability to write professional and effective communications, business process flows.
- Demonstrated ability to audit contracts, reports, item inventory, services by line-of-business, and customer invoices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with contractual obligations.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products with heavy emphasis: Word and Advanced Excel skills required.
- Prior experience with Oracle ERP systems is preferred, especially in financial and accounting functions.

Position Pay Range:
This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
$23.40-$37.43This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
