About the RoleThe Accountant I role is a detail-oriented and motivated entry-level position responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring financial transactions are properly recorded, as well as the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciliation to the general ledger.
This role compiles financial data to aid others in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports, as well as support for audit requests. This position requires a strong attention to detail, basic knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The role offers valuable experience in accounting and finance in a dynamic and fast paced environment

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in recording financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

  • Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.

  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other accounts.

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.

  • Assist with audits by gathering and organizing financial documentation.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

  • Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).

  • Typically entry-level position with 0 - 2 years of experience.

  • Basic knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Internship experience in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Familiarity with SAP.

  • Experience with financial reporting and accounting reconciliations

Compensation:

Annual Salary Range:

$60,000 - $81,000 USD

 

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
