Overview


As a core member of the Account Strategy team, you’ll play a key role in driving retention, renewals, and account growth across our customer ecosystem. You will be responsible for building, growing, and maintaining core accounts to promote revenue growth for the company, help customers successfully adopt the platform, and identify opportunities to increase value over time.

You will partner closely with Customer Operations to deliver a strong customer experience while developing your skills in strategic account management, expansion, and revenue growth.

This is a full-time, salaried, quota-carrying position.


Here’s what you’ll do


  • Manage and grow a portfolio of core Eventeny clients, ensuring satisfaction, goodwill, retention, and expansion.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client goals, translating them into actionable strategies, and aligning them with product capabilities.
  • Analyze account health metrics to identify risks early and proactively implement retention strategies.
  • Forecast renewals, manage contract negotiations, and drive upsell, cross-sell, referral, and review opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Assist in preparing data-driven account planning to demonstrate ROI and identify growth opportunities.
  • Communicate product knowledge effectively to customers and develop creative solutions to challenging problems.
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers.
  • Keep meticulous records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Maintain a standard communication cadence to ensure relevant touches throughout the renewal cycle.
  • Occasionally assist with live events, customer calls, or presentations as needed.


Here’s what we are looking for


  • 1-3 years of experience in account management, strategic management, or a growth-oriented client-facing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow or retain client accounts in a prior client-facing role.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to proactively manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Empathy and compassion in handling clients.
  • Ability to quickly and proactively identify challenges and brainstorm solutions.
  • High-level knowledge of G-Suite products, including Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Intercom, Asana, and Slack.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data/analytics mindset (interpret metrics, use insights for decision-making).
  • Added Plus: Experience in the event and/or SaaS industry

Compensation


This is a full-time position with a base salary of $65,000 with benefits and a semi-annual bonus tied to renewals and expansion. The final offer will be determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. This is a fully remote position.
