We are currently seeking an Account Strategist.

 

The Account Strategist is responsible for expanding and renewing revenue organically, through consultative selling, outstanding customer service practices, and for assisting customers with any problems that may occur during the order and delivery process.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Understand client needs and initiate upselling opportunities
  2. Proactively pipeline and provide weekly/monthly pipeline and forecasts.
  3. Use consultative sales techniques to offer expansion solutions.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with clients and understand their company growth.
  5. Strategically analyze client pain points and provide value with Data Axle solutions
  6. Drive product adoption and new customer onboarding.
  7. Utilize effective sales techniques to handle objections and grow book of business.
  8. Work proficiently with company sales order entry systems.
  9. Utilize CRM to maintain prospect/customer notes and opportunities.
  10. Prepare proposals and presentations.
  11. Proactively increase client value and prevent subscription cancellations.
  12. Demonstrate company core values.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

  1. Proven technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  2. Ability to create and execute customer retention strategies.
  3. Application of sales processes
  4. Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  5. Quick on feet, efficient, strong time management.
  6. Self-initiative and pro-active demeanor.
  7. Business/sales/marketing acumen
  8. Ability to work remote.
  9. Knowledge of sales and marketing practices and procedures.
  10. Ability to build rapport with clients.
  11. Works well under-pressure and ability to meet tight deadlines.

 

Education, Experience, and Certification:

  1. Bachelor's Degree, preferred
  2. 1 year Inside Sales, Account Management or Customer Experience, preferred
  3. 1 year of Data or digital sales experience preferred
  4. Proficient in MS Office, Excellent MS Excel skills, CRM software management
