Role Summary
The Sales Strategy Analyst supports the SVP of Business Development and sales leadership by analyzing data to drive sales strategy and improve commercial performance. This position translates sales and marketing metrics into actionable insights, identifies margin improvement opportunities, and develops tools to streamline sales operations. The role requires a blend of analytical skills and cross‑functional collaboration, with an emphasis on turning data into strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze sales, marketing, and financial data to inform sales strategy and future campaigns.
- Monitor key metrics (revenue, margins, cost of goods) and present findings that guide decision‑making.
- Identify opportunities for margin growth and process improvements; recommend actionable strategies
- Build and maintain dashboards and analytical tools that enhance day‑to‑day sales operations and reporting.
- Partner with sales teams, revenue operations, marketing and finance to align data insights with business goals.
- Deliver clear and concise presentations of insights, helping leadership understand performance drivers.
- Work independently on ad hoc projects as assigned by sales leadership, meeting deadlines and objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or sales operations.
- Strong analytical skills; advanced proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience working with sales performance data and CRM systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with BI or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex data insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple projects independently.
- Self‑starter with a curious mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in fintech, hospitality or consumer‑facing startups.
- SQL proficiency or comfort working directly with datasets.
- Prior experience in a fast paced, start-up environment

Salary:
- $80,000 - $90,000 + Benefits
