Data Axle provides data, applications, and services that help organizations make and save money. Our commitment to accuracy, service and innovation drive customer acquisition, retention, and product enhancement. We are currently seeking a Account Operations, Specialist.

This position is responsible for understanding the direct marketing industry and becoming efficient at project processing, including; coordination, multi-tasking, instruction comprehension, professional communications and technical adeptness to successfully use applications and data processing tools. The Account Operations, Specialist will respond internally and externally in an appropriate and professional manner, while working with the Account teams to facilitate Data Axle's products to our clients. Exceptional customer service, technical expertise, and the resolution of client issues will be provided in a timely manner. This position will regularly and customarily exercise discretion and independent judgement relative to matters of significance and will act as an advisor to the client.

Essential Job Functions: *

  1. As the primary client contact, maintain a positive relationship and ensure accuracy of delivery to exceed client expectations.
  2. Promote positive and professional client partnerships through communications, follow-up and timely research.
  3. Respond to the needs of the client, decide which course of action to take and execute that action without consultation or direction.
  4. Independently develop and monitor project plans to ensure quality, timely delivery.
  5. Demonstrate ability to accurately interpret client instructions and requests.
  6. Refine job related skills by working with and assisting team members and maintain strong relationships across all internal teams.
  7. Refine a working knowledge of technical aspects of position and quality assurance tools to meet standards.
  8. Facilitate professional communication between clients, internal departments and business units, and management.
  9. Continue to learn and gain knowledge of new processing and consultative techniques.
  10. Interpret client instructions, perform technical analysis, outline job flow and monitor project plans to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
  11. Recognize expectations of sales, internal departments and external contacts.
  12. Keep records of customer interactions and processing requirements, detailing inquiries and actions taken.
  13. Provide excellent customer service.

  1. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

  1. Technical understanding and thorough attention to detail of processing requirements.
  2. Ability to sufficiently communicate with individuals at all levels in the company in an articulate, professional manner; in both written and oral communications.
  3. Customer service experience demonstrating the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  4. Team player with ability to work independently.
  5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
  7. Self-starter with attention to detail.
  8. Ability to prioritize and multi-task, and to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  9. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, Visio and Outlook.
  10. Knowledge of mainframe and server-based systems.

 

Education, Experience, and Certification: *

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. *
  2. Professional training in account planning processes is preferred.
  3. 2 years customer service experience is required. *
  4. 2-4 years direct marketing experience is preferred.
