About The Role

At Grace Hill, our customers don't just buy software — they build operating programs on it. The Account Manager is the person who makes sure those programs grow and add business value.

We are seeking an Account Manager who sees a book of business as a portfolio to build, not a list to maintain. This role owns renewal and expansion across a defined set of customers, partnering closely with a Customer Success Manager who owns adoption and outcomes. You bring the commercial instinct; they bring the usage signal. Together you turn a customer using one part of the platform into a customer running their whole talent and risk program on PerformanceHQ. If you are energized by multiyear negotiations, whitespace you can actually see in the data, and a partnership model where you are never working an account alone, you belong here.

Key Responsibilities

Growth & Commercial Ownership

  • Own the Number: Carry a renewal and expansion quota across an assigned book of business, and forecast it with accuracy you would defend in any room.
  • Find the Whitespace: Use product usage, survey results, and benchmarking data to identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Make Multiyear the Default: Structure, price, and negotiate multiyear agreements that drive predictability for the business, shepherding deals through procurement and legal.
  • Sell to the Business Case: Lead consultative conversations with VP- and C-level stakeholders that connect Grace Hill solutions to operating risk, NOI, and talent retention — not features.

Partnership & Process Excellence

  • Run the Account as a Pair: Build and maintain joint account plans with your Customer Success Manager, with a clear line between adoption work and commercial work, and a shared view of account health.
  • Protect the Base: Identify renewal risk early through engagement signals and stakeholder change, and build the save plan before the renewal window opens.
  • Precision Execution: Maintain exceptional Salesforce hygiene — accurate stages, dates, amounts, and next steps — so the forecast reflects reality.
  • Work AI-Forward: Use AI tooling to sharpen account research, meeting prep, and account planning, and speak credibly about how AI is reshaping multifamily and commercial real estate operations.
  • Close the Loop: Bring field learnings back to Product, Marketing, and Customer Success so what you hear in accounts shapes what we build and how we position it.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years of quota-carrying account management, renewals, or expansion experience in SaaS or B2B technology.
  • Commercial Range: Proven track record of growing existing accounts, early renewals and negotiating renewals — including multiyear structures to close.
  • Forecast Discipline: You are passionate about forecast accuracy and follow-up rigor.
  • Consultative Seller: You are well-versed in value-based solution selling and can adapt your style across property operations, HR, compliance, and executive personas.
  • Collaborative by Default: You work effectively alongside Customer Success, Solutions, and RevOps partners, and you share credit.
  • Tech-Fluent: Skilled in Salesforce, Slack, Gong and comfortable using data and AI tools to drive account strategy.
  • Industry Knowledge: Multifamily or commercial real estate experience is a strong plus.
  • Methodology: SPICED or Challenger sales methodology encouraged.
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary:  $140K OTE with uncapped commissions + accelerators
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Remote work option
  • Collaborative, mission-driven culture
